I don't explicitly stop WinTv2K at the end of the recording. I give it a duration and (by default) request that it runs Muted.
I could force it to close at the end - e.g. by using the post-process function of DABDig (it could execute a Kill command) however, consecutive recordings might have a problem (the post-process call might abort the next recording).
I could put something in specifically to shut it down - but can you explain why you want it (just in case I can think of another way of doing it or a reason why it might be a problem)?
