lovely application, thank you thank you! Can you tell me how to change the recording formay in the ini file to select hardware dvd as the default setting select mpeg1 at the moment. Using pvr 2000.

Ok sorted it out by actually reading other answers! working fine now. Another silly question, I use a sky box to feed digital stream into a pvr 2000 so only need one channel! I dont want the app to change the channel on the pvr, but I do want the programme info! Is it possible to set the default recording channel to channel 1 for example?

have managed to get round the problem in the short term by giving the channel number 1 to every channel in digiguide! works for now but I would still like to have the real channel numbers so I can find them more easily on the sky box!

You could make DABDig override the channel numbers.

Take a look at the dabdig.map description in the web page.

Basically you could map a given channel name to a different number. That way the EPG GUI will show the real channel number but DABDig will ignore it.
