I have seen reports that wavefinder is working with the release candidate of windows sp3.

Not tried it myself, and not sure if I can be bothered with my dusty old WF, but I have seen more than one report that it is working again.

Is this good news or bad news, now that there are so many better receivers out there?

I myself tend to use mainly Internet radio's now.

Yes - I updated the Wavefinder FAQ a while ago with the news.

It has been working on Vista since day 1.
