I've been experimenting with changing the alert interval with DigiGuide. I use Nebula DigiTV and my PC hibernates after a recording so I need a much longer interval than 10 minutes - the PC could be asleep for more than a day between recordings (I'm only recording Freeview radio channels on this PC).

I haven't established the breakpoint, but at longer alert intervals (a day or more for certain), DigiGuide does not "take" a request for a one-time recording. The icon pops onto the grid but then immediately disappears again, and the recording request is not set to DigiTV.

Strangely, setting a Daily or Weekly repeating recording request works fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

David

In theory it should not make a difference ... but check the dabdig.txt (in DigiGuide directory) and dg.log in (DigiGuide/user-settings directory).

If the interval is more than one day then it is possible that DigiGuide will send more than one event to DABDig at near enough the same time (just after a DG Update). DABDig tries to handle this but it could get caught out.
