Recently a number of recordings have been missed. I found the following messages in dg.log: 23-10-2005 13:40:00 1800 1812 Marker Alert fired: 'EastEnders' on at 23 October 2005 14:50 set for 10 minutes before. 23-10-2005 13:40:00 1800 1812 WARNING: Marker template code for DABDigR(279) : error: ReferenceError: OnAlert is not defined 23-10-2005 13:40:00 1800 1812 WARNING: Script problems 23-10-2005 13:40:00 1800 1812 CMarkerManager::RemoveAlert marker ID 615 However I also found the same message for a recording which succeeded. Any thoughts?

The OnAlert function was something that was added to DG 8.2. In fact I was involved in the discussions. In itself - it is only a warning from DG that a new optional facility is not being used .. it is not the cause of your problem. Are there any clues in the dabdig.txt ? Are you trying to use DigiTV 3.5.x ? Paul Webster DABDig creator

Yes, I am trying to use DigiTV 3.5.10 (beta). Is this a bad idea? It appears from dabdig.txt that the recording request is being fired off, with what looks to be the right details. I see an entry for EastEnders on BBC1 on Sunday but it was not recorded. However another programme this week on BBC1 was correctly recorded. Weird. Perhaps recently-created markers are working and old ones are not?

The Nebula osftware is broken - but we all have great hopes for 3.5.11 which they say fixes this. Paul Webster DABDig creator |
