Sorry if this is covered somewhere else. I've now got my Digiguide and DABDig driving my Wavefinder and DigiTV properly. All is great.. Except, what I'd really like is the ability to do this. Say I have a recording on BBC Radio 1. I'd like to be able to select, through DigiGuide, whether to make that recording happen from either DTT or DAB, as I wanted. At the moment, it wants to make the recording on both devices - I can't see a way to choose just one. I thought I might be able to do it by adding the channel in twice and renaming one something like (BBC Radio 3 [DTT]) - but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Any ideas? |

Set DefaultDevice=DVB then ... for all channels that are not DVB set the channel number (in the DG GUI) to something like ... DAB-12345 or DVB-704,DAB-34567 It is the DefaultDevice being non-empty that tells DABDig that this is a special set-up. Paul WebsterDABDig creator |

Thanks for the replying, sorry for the delay in getting back. I don't think I explained myself ery well, and suddenly think this might be a DigiGuide question, not a DABDig one. The problem is that when I set automatic alerts to record things, Digiguide always seems to want to record from both devices. I tried changing the channel names (ie one BBC RADIO 1 - DTT, one BBC RADIO 1- DA, but it didn't seem to sort it... |

I went back and read your post more closely... and I've figured it out. Thanks so much. That's the most wonderfully simple system it foxed me! |

Here's a cheeky question! Is it possible to record on both devices at once. Say, I was recording a radio programme from DigiTV as I wanted the higher-quality, but wanted to record the DAB version as a back-up.. |

Here is an inelegant way .... Add the item as normal - then right-click on the programme and Edit the DABDigR marker. Then go to the Alert tab and you will see soemthing like "DVB+$ChannelAssignment" change it to "$ChannelAssignment" I think it will work. If it does - then I could change the marker menus to give you an "All devices" option when there are more than one.
